New Music: Lanu – Beautiful Trash feat Megan Washington

Here’s some music that will lift your spirits right up. I’ve just discovered New Zealand born, Melbourne based producer Lanu whom is best known as Lance Ferguson, the lead guitarist and creative head honcho of funk/soul band The Bamboos (widely regarded as one of the finest funk bands in the world), but under his solo alias he explores all the other influences that gets his musical heart beating.

‘Beautiful Trash’ featuring Megan Washington is the first single from the upcoming 2011 album, Her 12 Faces by Lanu. An irresistible super catchy pop nugget, ‘Beautiful Trash’ is being released digitally and on 7” vinyl by Tru Thoughts on March 8th.
