Revolver @ Chop Suey

Revolver is Ambroise Willaume (lead vocals, guitar, piano), Christophe Musset (vocals, guitar) and Jérémie Arcache (cello, vocals) three early twenty-something Parisians with voices of angels. Seriously, there are three angels in Heaven who have lost the ability to speak/sing. The music of Revolver will move you, it will make you feel warm all over and you will experience emotion you’ve merely read about in the papers and dreamed about at night. The guys are playing tonight at Chop Suey and were kind enough to drop by the mixtape to chat about how things got started for them, the awsomeness of opening for Muse and they indulge me by taking part in a very silly game of Name That Band French Edition.
Oh and Revolver will be playing a free in-store at the Silver Platters on Queen Anne tonight!
A bit from their bio…
The band spent the last 18 months touring all over France and Europe, at the end of which they made remarkable US festival debuts last fall in Los Angeles and in New York, in support of their French Grammy nominated debut full length Music For A While, which was released by Astralwerks and produced by Julien Delfaud (Phoenix, Herman Dune). The band is also releasing the new acoustic EP, Parallel Lives, out February 22, 2011 on Astralwerks, which features two new original songs, the eponymous title track and ‘Losing You.’
