3.0-magnitude earthquake strikes Snohomish County early Tuesday morning

A 3.0-magnitude earthquake was recorded in Snohomish County early Tuesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).

The earthquake happened at 5:42 a.m. Tuesday, with its epicenter 1.8 miles from Cathcart and 2.6 miles from Maltby. Silver Furs and Monroe are also within five miles of the earthquake’s epicenter.

The earthquake had a depth of 14.8 miles.

As of 6:15 a.m., 146 people have reported feeling the quake.
