Bruce Dammeier leads in early results for Pierce County Executive

Bruce Dammeier (54%) is in the lead over Larry Seaquist (46%) in the race for Pierce County Executive, according to early election results.
Republican incumbent Bruce Dammeier is in his fourth year serving as Pierce County Executive. He previously was elected to the Washington State Senate in 2012, and served in the Washington State House of Representatives, representing the 25th district from 2009-2013. Before politics, Dammeier served two terms on the Puyallup School Board.

Democrat challenger Larry Seaquist served in the Washington House of Representatives from 2007 to 2015, where he represented the 26th legislative district. He’s also chaired the House Higher Education Committee and Health Care committees, and served 32 years in the Navy, commanding four warships during his time.
