You either love it or hate it living in Seattle, there’s no in between.

In an article from The Seattle Times, people across the country were interviewed to ask about their views of Seattle. The study found that Seattle was a very polarizing city, as it appeared in both polls for the most and least desirable places to live.

Bryan Suits discussed why he thinks that polarization exists in the Emerald City, with so many adjusting their views due to a recent rise in crimes and increased housing prices.

“Seattle shows up at two ends of this poll: Top ten most desirable to live and top ten least desirable to live – Seattle is one of only two towns that does that,” Suits said. “A new national survey suggests Seattle may have become one of the most highly polarizing cities. People either love it or hate it. I would wager that I’m not the only person who went from the bottom ten to the top ten areas, though the Seattle area I think is a bit deceptive.”

Suits also talks about housing prices, and warning, how interest rate increases may be so surprising that you drive your car off the road.
