Wilcox Family Farms donates nearly 1 million eggs to regional food banks this holiday season

Wilcox Family Farms is continuing its cherished holiday tradition of giving back by donating nearly one million eggs to food banks across the region this season. Starting with a delivery to Emergency Food Network (EFN) in Pierce County, the Wilcox team is helping ensure families have access to fresh, nutritious eggs during a time of year when need is especially high.

This annual give-back effort is rooted in the Wilcox family’s long-standing values: community, stewardship, and a deep commitment to staying local.

“We believe fundamentally that food is home,” an EFN representative said. “Seventeen pallets of eggs is like gold right now.”

Longtime Wilcox driver Scotty Parker and members of the Wilcox family personally joined EFN staff to help deliver the first round of eggs. From there, deliveries will continue to additional partner organizations throughout the region. As grocery prices rise and demand at food banks grows, this donation serves as a vital contribution to rural and urban communities alike.
