Throughout the controversy over full body scanners, the federal government assured us the images taken of our naked-looking, scanned bodies will never be saved. Can we trust them? Maybe not when you consider what has happened with scans from a Federal courthouse.
The tech website Gizmodo has discovered U.S. Marshals in a Florida Federal courthouse saved 35,000 images on their scanner.

A Gizmodo investigation revealed 100 of the photographs saved by the Gen 2 millimeter wave scanner from Brijot Imaging Systems. They obtained the images through a Freedom of Information Act request.
