A Belltown high-rise penthouse, that’s also the fictional home of billionaire Christian Grey in the hugely popular book series “Fifty Shades of Grey,” has just sold for $6.2 million.

The Puget Sound Business Journal report the new owners of the penthouse unit are Ed and Cynthia Maletis.

Such a unit is also home to many of the escapades between Grey and lead character Anastasia Steel in the E. L. James book series.

Escala has four penthouse units that were each offered at the asking price of $6.7 million. Other units in the building start at $400,000.

PSBJ reports the $6.2 million paid for the unit was the highest price paid for a condo in Seattle in the last three years.

There are reportedly 33 units left in the building. Units at Escala are shown only by appointment.
