After helping an 8-year-old Olympia girl raise money for a service dog, KIRO Radio’s Ron and Don got a little thank you.

It came in the form of a card, and a drawing, from Jada Holloway, who suffers from various ailments and carries around an oxygen tank. Jada and her family had been trying to raise enough money to get a service dog to help Jada.

An online crowd-funding page remained dormant for years, until Ron and Don found it and promoted it on their radio show. As a result,Ron and Don’s listeners raised more than $20,000 for Jada, who is now shopping for a service dog.

Hi Ron & Don

We wanted to write and tell you how extremely grateful we are for the help you gave us to get the money needed for Jada’s service dog! Your generosity and especially the generosity of your listeners has brought us so much joy. You will have a special place in our hearts and we will never forget you! Please share this with your listeners and let them know we will share pictures with everyone when Jada is paired with her special dog!! When we met with Josh Kerns, we had no idea we would have made it this far, so thank you all for supporting our mission!

All our Love, Jada, Stephanie & family
