Bagpipes! Seattle Police & Rachel Belle Are Learning

About 70 Seattle police officers are learning to play the bagpipes and drums so they can play at the memorial services and funerals of fallen officers. Rachel Belle went to one of their practices, so she could learn how to play a few notes. She is now a bagpipe prodigy.

The band is made up of SPD cops, but it’s a non profit, they’re not connected with the police department, so the band is holding a fundraiser (see poster) to raise money for their instruments and uniforms.
