Dutch researchers have invented a device that encourages crows to pick up cigarette butts and throw them away.
It’s time to incentivize needle cleanup
When a crow successfully deposits a butt into “The Crowbar,” food is dispensed.
Crows are considered to be highly intelligent. If crows really can be trained to pick up garbage, why not train them to clean up all the hypodermic needles littered around Seattle?
Instead of spending millions of taxpayer dollars to clean up the city, why not buy a bag of nuts and a few “Crowbars” and have the birds do it for us?
