Mortgages at least 30 days past due climbed 3.4 percent in June to 7.14 percent, but remained 7.3 percent below June 2011 levels, according to a report from Lender Processing Services.

The gain marked the third straight increase in delinquencies following nine months of decline. Meanwhile, foreclosure inventory fell 2 percent to 2.061 million properties, down 1 percent from a year earlier.

Total properties 30 or more days delinquent (but not in foreclosure) or are foreclosure pre-sale inventory: 5,663,000

States with highest percentage of non-current (delinquent or foreclosed) loans as of June 2012 were Florida, Mississippi, Nevada, New Jersey and Illinois. States with the lowest percentage of non-current (delinquent or foreclosed) loans were Montana, Alaska, Wyoming, South Dakota and North Dakota.
