Tim Eyman steals a $70 Office Depot chair

Great job with hard-hitting Tim Eyman interview

I have to give you props for the interview you did with Tim Eyman. I wasn’t sure how you would handle it and did not think that you would call him out on it, but you did. I know he has been on your show several times and you both have at least some kind of friendship, so I am thinking that it must have been a little awkward. I don’t know much about Eyman personally, but his responses to your pointed questions made my jaw drop at times. From what I gather from his tone, he really does know what he did, but took some time away to come up with something that would allow him to save face (or completely walk away from this disaster).

I am wondering how the interview would have gone or what his responses would have been had the damning video not been available for the world to see? To me, he sounds like a person who is on the edge and close to a breakdown. He also sounds like someone who is in complete denial and quite possibly a pathological liar. His nervous laughter and the way it sounded like a used car salesman trying to sell us something was very sad. I think his judgement in this seriously does need to call into question everything about him. It is not uncommon for celebrities or people who are actually doing quite well to resort to theft, so his excuse that he can afford the $70 chair doesn’t fly with me.

Hard to continue supporting Eyman

Good interview with Eyman. As much as I appreciate what he’s done on behalf of the voters, I can’t respect him until he’s honest about the chair incident. He can’t just laugh this off. He tried to steal a chair and got caught. It’s quite clear to me — not a “misunderstanding.” We’re not that naïve.

I love this snow plow kid. The best thing about this is that all the anti-religious zealots in Seattle paid this Bible-quoting kid $35,000 to dig them out when their “Big Government God” could not do anything for them.

Snowplow teen is right — you have to work hard

Dori, I am 56 years old, and filed over the weekend to form a new company that will improve neighborhoods one house at a time, put some people to work, and make enough money to live well and give a lot. This is career number-four for me. My wife and I together make it happen. You’ve got to quit whining and get to work.

Durkan’s State of the City promises more Freeattle

Why stop at free Orca cards? 

Regarding Jenny Durkan’s proposal for free Orca passes for low-income citizens, why don’t we just give them free bicycles so someone can use the newly-plowed bike lanes? It would also offer health benefits, save money on health care, and leave no carbon footprint.

Durkan’s SOTC provides a rare point of agreement

Listening to you right now Tuesday afternoon at 2:23 p.m. I don’t often agree with you, but I do now when you’re talking about the free stuff that our mayor is giving to the homeless. We might as well give them a free ticket on a Greyhound bus so they can come here from Florida or Massachusetts or Texas or South Dakota. I’m with you, Dori!

Attorney general goes after Eastern WA sheriffs

Please be objective about Ferguson

I know you like to criticize our State’s AG, and I do agree with you that he should have brought suit against the City of Seattle over the illegal income tax issue. And yes, he does have a vendetta against Tim Eyman. And he should have represented “the people” against WSDOT and the illegal tolling on I-405. That issue is most reprehensible. And the florist from the Tri-Cities received a “raw deal” from our State of Washington. However, I have to disagree with you when it comes to Donald Trump. The score is something like 16 to nothing in Washington State vs. Donald Trump’s misguided thinking and actions. Ferguson is right, along with the other AGs across America, to stand up to the POTUS. Please be objective and open-minded — your brain won’t fall out.

Bob Ferguson is a dangerous politician

I just read your commentary about Bob Ferguson and the other liberal leaders in our state, and loved it. My husband, a retired Snohomish County sergeant, read it out loud to me. You are my hero, as you exposed a river rafting company that wanted to profit from the deaths of my six family members during the Oso landslide a couple of years ago. Attorney General Ferguson instructed staff to hide emails from our attorneys and the press, and fortunately, he did a lousy job, as they uncovered the geologist report that the state hired, which agreed with our findings. Ferguson’s reward for this illegal act? A straight shot to governor. I promise you that whoever runs against him will have my support and help, if wanted. He and the other politicians you wrote about are what’s wrong with Washington politics. Keep up the pressure and thank you.
