Coffee lovers rejoice! Dutch Bros planned for Everett

A favorite of coffee drinkers across the country is making its way to the Puget Sound area. Everett, say hello to Dutch Bros.
Dutch Bros. Coffee is planning for its first stand in the area, according to plans submitted to Everett’s Department of Community Development.
The drive-through will be located at 2202 Broadway Ave. The Daily Herald reports it will open in late fall or early winter.
The new location will add to the company’s growing presence in Washington state. The privately-owned chain operates in Olympia south and Eastern Washington, according to the Herald, which reports another one of the signature drive-throughs is being planned for Renton. The company owns 265 locations in seven states.

Don’t be misled by the post though. The drive-through is still fenced off and under construction.
Dutch Bros. was founded in Southern Oregon in 1992 by dairy farmers Dane and Travis Boersma. It is the country’s largest, privately-held drive-through coffee company. The company serves specialty drinks, smoothies, freezes, and teas.
