Former Seahawk Craig Terrill and chef John Howie team up for Kick Hunger Challenge

Whether he’s sharing his band’s latest music or a duet with his grandmother, we’re always thrilled to have former Seattle Seahawk and good friend Craig Terrill join us on the show. Today, he gave us a preview of the fifth annual Taste of the NFL’s Kick Hunger Challenge, where he’ll join chef John Howie in competing against the other 31 NFL teams to see who can raise the most for charity.

On Jan. 11, SPORT Restaurant and Bar will host 150 guests as they’re treated to a special Texas-style Super Bowl-themed dinner (menu designed by Howie), music by The Craig Terrill Band, surprise local celebrity guests and spirited live and silent auctions featuring Seahawks memorabilia and exclusive experiences.

The Taste of the NFL’s Kick Hunger Challenge is a friendly competition between all 32 NFL teams benefiting local food banks. Over the last four seasons, Terrill and Chef Howie have led the Seattle team to three Kick Hunger Challenge victories, raising $375,000 for Food Lifeline, including $100,000 last year alone! With every $1 raised, Food Lifeline can provide 5 nutritious meals.
