The intelligence community in the United States is living up to the way President Donald Trump has described them in the past — 98 percent of the people who work in the intelligence community are absolute patriots and heroes, but there is a group of people who are getting addicted to leaking to the press.

I’ve seen this happen before. They love leaking to the press because they know they are going to get favors — journalists in Washington Washington D.C. run the show and can provide a lot of things.

The president has called for a Department of Justice investigation into these leaks. The amount of leaks is becoming ridiculous. There was nothing like this happening during the Obama administration. These must be Obama holdovers. There are many things that can be true at one time. There could be people concerned about President Trump, saying, “He’s out of control so I’m going to leak.” There could people be looking for career advancement. And there could be holdovers from the Obama administration.

Not even Joe Lieberman could become the FBI director because he’s not part of the club.
