The James Comey hearings are not entertainment

If you enjoyed the James Comey hearings from the prospective of entertainment, I don’t understand you. The whole point of the hearings is to see if they can get someone to trip up and make a mistake.

But as Conservatives, we need to ask ourselves what is going on behind the scenes while Washington D.C. has us looking at these hearings. And I do think President Trump has handled this situation horribly. He could have fired Comey when he first took office.

These hearings are a sign of dysfunction that we need to recognize because the media feeds on this dysfunction. Part of the theater is asking questions that people can’t answer because it is classified information. Then it looks like people are refusing to answer questions.

They are not looking for answers, they are looking for outcomes. They are not investigating, they are agitating.

This is Kabuki theater.
