The Auburn police vehicle that went missing Sunday was found by Mercer Island police, KING 5 reports.

Auburn police commander Mike Hirman said the 2012 Chevy Tahoe was easily identified by the Auburn logo on its doors, its paint job and the light bar on top.

The SUV had a police-issue rifle locked in a bracket inside the cab. The rifle was still inside when the SUV was found.

Auburn police say the suspect climbed a fence to get into the parking lot. However, the fence is only 3-4 feet tall, according to KIRO TV’s Joanna Small.

The suspect drove the vehicle through a locked gate before speeding off.
