Patriots of every perspective have two big days coming up: first, November 8th, Election Day, when every American who cares about the country has a sacred duty to consider the issues and the candidates, and then to vote. Skipping the election is not an honorable option!
The second big day is November 9th, the day after a fateful choice. At that point, we all have a responsibility to accept the outcome of the election with grace and dignity, and to wish success to the new president, whoever it is. In 2008, a few prominent commentators made a needless mistake and expressed the wish that Obama would fail. Though they really wanted him to fail in his mission to “transform” America, the public heard it as a wish to see harm to the country. A successful America requires a successful presidency, and we should hope and pray for the best for President-elect Trump, or President-elect Clinton.
