Random thoughts on Election Night 2016

Nov 8, 2016, 11:27 PM

I have never seen anything like this election night – and never will again.

Yes, a shocking showing by Trump, but also proof of how much American can’t stand Hillary. I continue to believe that not coming on my show cost Hillary the election. I bizarrely also cling to the belief that coming on my show somehow gave Trump the election.

Dori interviews Donald Trump

The Never-Trumpers, who have been saying that Donald would cost the GOP the House and Senate, were laughably wrong. I wonder what Jay-Z, Beyonce, Bruuuuce, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Bon Jovi are doing tonight?

The unknowns of Trump are why I didn’t vote for him. I pray that he will do well for our country. And, yes, Hillary would have gotten those same prayers.

I’m usually not a CNN fan, but, as I flipped the dial it quickly became apparent that John King was a million times better than any other Election Night reporter.

Locally, it looks like voters are making a hideous financial mistake with ST3, the biggest local tax increase in our nation’s history.

The nation embraced change. Our state embraced the same-ol’-same-ol’.

Thank you to everyone who voted for me. I’m working on my concession speech.

Much more Wednesday at noon.
