The Seattle Seahawks and Sounders will have an impressive new neighbor just north of CenturyLink Field, a 1.5 million square-foot development called Stadium Place.
Officials estimate construction costs for the four-tower project, scheduled for completion in 2015, to be $680 million.
The $193 million first phase, scheduled to be completed in January of 2013, will include the South and West Towers. The 25-story South Tower apartments will be comprised of different sized, stacked glass and steel blocks that designers believe will highlight the neighborhood. The West Tower will have a more traditional design and include 107 loft apartments.
