Tacoma 14-year-old arrested for threatening to shoot staff and students

Tacoma police arrested a 14-year-old for threatening to shoot fellow students as well as staff members at Northwest School of Innovative Learning on Tuesday afternoon.

A list of intended targets was found at his home when officers made the arrest, according to the police.

Brian Suits, a KTTH host weighed in on the issue on his show, pointing out the importance of flagging the threats before any actions could be done.

“See how that works that if you want to make your school safe you report the potential danger,” Suits said on his show.

The boy is being held at Remann Hall Pierce County Juvenile Detention Facility and is being charged with 10 counts of Felony Harassment.
