‘Terminator: Dark Fate’ lacks depth, but will please fans of the franchise

Arnold and Linda Hamilton are back again in “Terminator: Dark Fate.” She’s Sarah Connor, and the main character is played by a wonderful Canadian actress named Mackenzie Davis, who steals the movie, with Diego Luna playing the new terminator.

It’s great fun to see Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger back. The movie is reasonably entertaining, and I think it will probably please people who love this franchise. But it’s basically one-dimensional. It’s one scene after another of battling this implacable, indestructible, very formidable terminator, with little attention to human relationships.
