Most real estate agents will tell you the best way to get their peers to linger longer at an open house is to provide a sumptuous buffet lunch.
But how about a dim-sum truck with catered, custom entrees, test drives of a 2012 Audi A8, Thai foot massages and facials, and a chance to win $300 in Botox treatments? In fact, go ahead and bring you clients along.
Agents Michael Gardiner and Nikki Hochstein, pulled out all the stops for their broker open at a $8.495 million listing overlooking Beverly Hills. The 8,000 square-foot home on more than an acre of land has been on the market since February and agents were looking for a creating way to generate more traffic.
The Mediterranean estate, walled and gated with private landscaped grounds, features a three-car garage, oversized pool, 12-person spa, and two-story foyer. The gourmet kitchen has a six-burner Viking stove, two Viking dishwashers, Subzero refrigerator, large walk-in pantry , and 150-bottle Subzero wine cellar. The master suite has a wood-burning fireplace, his and her closets, and a limestone terrace overlooking the pool.
