There is a new segregation occurring in the United States. And much to the chagrin of the liberal left, it’s not in the South. It’s occurring on the West Coast. The poster child city for this is San Francisco.

How could that be when San Francisco is run entirely by progressives? In 1970, there were 100,000 African Americans living in San Francisco. Today, there are 51,000 living in the city.

The great lie of modern progressivism is that it is “for the people”; that they are the ones who are going to keep big business in check.

No one can afford homes in the median income range. You have to be wealthy to live in San Francisco and Seattle is not far behind. To buy a house in San Fran proper you need to earn $126,000 a year. The wealthy have the political clout; unless you belong to a leftist, agitation group. They get housing – subsistence housing – where we store people instead of restoring people.
