Working overtime to swear in new American citizens

One of my favorite blogs, Legal Insurrection, says that new emails show that Federal Immigration bosses are working overtime to swear in new citizens “due to the election.” 

These are emails from a U.S. immigration and field office chief. And to turn people into citizens before the election, they are paying overtime!

I am at a loss as to what it will take for Democrats to say, “Hold on, this isn’t right.” The ends do not always justify the means. I know that the hard left doesn’t care. 

But reasonable Democrats should stand up and say you can’t use the levers of Government to purposely effect an election. Can’t they see how wrong this is?

My question to old fashioned JFK Democrats, you’re OK with this? Because there will be a person that will get into office within your lifetime and use the levers of government against you and your beliefs if you sanction something like this.
