You can now be jailed in MA for using the wrong pronoun

Oct 6, 2016, 3:06 PM

In the State of Massachusetts you can now be arrested, jailed, fined and held civilly libel if you refuse to call a man a woman.

I had so many people tell me I was making too big of deal about men showering in women’s locker rooms this time last year. They said it wasn’t a big deal. But isn’t it? Here are some of the continuing repercussions.

Churches in Massachusetts are now involved in this. They are under notice from the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination that they are to use certain pronouns.

“Violation of the law shall be punished by a fine of not more than $2,500 or by imprisonment of not more than one year, or both. In addition, the violator shall be liable to the aggrieved person for damages.”

This is forced speech.

The Commission didn’t say they would do this to churches. But they could. It is a threat.

This is flatly Un-American. But this is world we seem to live in now.

There is spiral of silence, a phrase coined by a German Political Scientist; people keeping unpopular opinions to themselves to avoid backlash.

“Even majority opinions can be stifled when the media amplify minority voices to make them seem dominant.”

As always, please listen to the full audio clip for complete context.
