Highway 2 has been cleared just west of the Stevens Pass summit following a fatal collision this morning.

The Washington State Patrol tweeted that a 20-year-old female from Bothell died after being the passenger in a vehicle involved in a head-on crash with another vehicle. The driver of the “causing” vehicle and passenger in the second car were injured and transported to EvergreenHealth Medical Center.

WSDOT had been alternating one lane of traffic.
