Two dead in small plane crash on Whidbey Island

Two people have died in a small plane crash on Whidbey Island that happened around noon Wednesday.

KIRO-7 TV reports that a single engine cessna crashed into the woods about a mile north of the Whidbey Airpark in Langley.

Investigators said there were two people on the plane and they both died at the scene. The reason for the crash is still unknown.
