First Look: Aflockalypse, B.I.G. murder case, Mega Millions winner

The guys are gearing up for a big (if unexpected) Seahawks playoff game tomorrow…In the meantime, here are some stories we’re working on:

“Aflockalypse” might be overstating things: Mass bird die-offs like the ones in Arkansas on New Years day and Sweden the following week happen frequently–every other day in North America, according to biologists.

Cold case no longer? Break in the investigation into the 1997 murder of rap star Notorious B.I.G.

All eyes on the McCullar family of Ephrata, WA: Jim and his wife Carolyn claimed $190 million yesterday, their half of a record Mega Millions lottery jackpot. The other winner, who bought a winning ticket in Idaho, has not come forward.
