Dozens of people have been displaced after a 3-alarm fire ripped through an apartment building late Sunday night in Auburn.
Crews with South King and Puget Sound fire agencies were called to the 1600 block of 8th Street Northeast. When firefighters arrived at the scene, they conducted a search of the building after receiving a report that someone was possibly trapped on the third floor.
The Red Cross was later called to help 60 residents who were displaced.
