Former Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch appeared on “Running Wild with Bear Grylls” where the television star showed the former NFL player a new use for his hair when Grylls lit a dreadlock on fire.

It’s a secret Denver Broncos safety T.J. Ward seemed to be holding onto ever since trying to steal one of Lynch’s locks in 2014.

We also discovered what Lynch’s mother was talking about when she told KIRO Radio that her son was somewhere in France, possibly jumping from a helicopter. Lynch was on the French island of Corsica.

While he learned some new survival skills, Lynch talked about retirement. He seems pretty content with being done with football, which contradicts what some outlets have been reporting — that he is “up in the air” about a return. Even his mother wasn’t sure her son was retired from football, at least for a while. However, it goes hand-in-hand with very direct statements he made on 60 Minutes Sports that he is done with the NFL.

For now it appears Lynch can sit back, relax, and forget about not being handed the ball.
