Authorities are searching for a 2002 maroon Buick Lesabre — 4 door — out of Spokane Valley City. It has tinted windows. Its license plate number is 934YVS.

Spokane deputies are looking for 6-year-old Danika Packard who may be with her mother — 35-year-old Tracy Packard, police say.

Danika’s school notified her father this morning that her mother had pulled her out of school. The sheriff’s office was notified about the incident at 10:30 a.m.

Danika’s father was told by school officials that the mother, Tracy, was acting odd and was pulling Danika from school to “go be with the Lord.” The father also told deputies that Tracy had been acting odd for a few days.

Danika is 4 feet tall, and around 55 pounds, with brown hard. She was last seen wearing blue jeans with a pink or purple top.

Tracy is 5’6”, 170 pounds with brown hair. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue hoody with white lettering.

Deputies have already checked with family in the area, but have not located Tracy or Danika. They are also looking for the mother and child in areas around Northern Idaho.

Danika was last seen at Woodward Elementary, then eastbound near I-90 and McQuire Road.

Anyone with information regarding the location of this vehicle, or has seen Danika or Tracy Packard, is urged to call 911 immediately.
