If the timing is right and cool air sticks around Sunday morning, we could see pockets of wet snow around Western Washington.

KIRO 7 Meteorologist Nick Allard says snow levels may hover around 500 feet. So, if it rains, there could be a few snow showers mixed in.
However, “I don’t see it as an issue at all,” Allard said. “In fact, if latest computer models come out and push the timing back a little it won’t be an issue.
“It’s just something to remember for Sunday.”
Its been a wet start to 2018
Though snow is questionable, rain is almost definite.
After a mild Saturday, rain is expected to return Sunday. Showers will continue Monday and return Wednesday.
So, don’t be surprised if the number of people searching for homes outside of Western Washington continue to rise in the coming weeks.
According to the National Weather Service, it rained in Seattle 32 of the first 39 days.
The total rainfall for the year is 9.05 inches. That is 0.02 inches less than the normal total of 9.07 inches.
