For 26 years, KIRO Radio and Treehouse have been committed to helping change the lives of thousands of foster kids in Washington State. On December 11, 2014 from 7 am to 7 pm on KIRO Radio 97.3 FM, we'll ask for your help.
Children in foster care live in an uncertain world. The stability that most children take for granted is not guaranteed to foster kids. While we all share the joy of the holidays with loved ones, many foster kids are facing the season without their parents or brothers and sisters. Holiday Magic is KIRO Radio's commitment to make a brighter holiday possible for foster kids.
The 26th Annual Foster Child Holiday Magic campaign on KIRO Radio 97.3 FM, in partnership with Treehouse, will provide a gift for every foster child in Washington. Any remaining funds will be used to provide clothes, books, academic support, SAT prep, after school activities, camp and so much more to the thousands of foster care kids in need.
Make a monthly gift and be a Holiday Hero for foster kids! Your monthly gift to Holiday Magic will put a foster child's hands on a keyboard or her feet on the pedals of a bike. Your gift means more than just a present under the tree. The sense of belonging and happiness at this time of year will trigger ideas, ignite dreams, and build futures that will last long beyond New Year's.
Treehouse provides kids in foster care with the academic and other essential supports they equally deserve to help them graduate high school. With your help, Treehouse gives foster kids a childhood and a future.
