The Washington State Department of Transportation certainly got into the spirit of the season on Thursday. The holidays? No. Rather, the force was strong with the department which gave its social media a Star Wars makeover in honor of the newest film opening in theaters.

The department converted its logo into various Star Wars characters, which were in turn used on Twitter for the various regions it covers. Logos inlcuded Yoda, Boba Fett, Darth Vader, C-3PO.

But it wasn’t just WSDOT’s logo that got galactic treatment. With rain and heavy snow in parts of Washington, drivers certainly weren’t moving fast enough to make the Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs. WSDOT used its Twitter account to make sure drivers knew the conditions on the road with specialized tweets.
