Twenty candidates took the stage Tuesday night for a second time to argue why they should get the Democratic nomination for president.
The first of two Democratic debates aired exclusively on CNN. Each night has a different lineup of candidates.

Tuesday’s lineup included: Montana Gov. Steve Bullock; South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg; Former Maryland Rep. John Delaney; Former Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper; Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar; Former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke; Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan; Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders; Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren; and Author Marianne Williamson.
And while many declared Elizabeth Warren the winner, KIRO Radio and KTTH hosts pointed out that it was also an important night for the more moderate candidates as well.
“A significant minority of Republicans (at least 10%) remain uncertain about #Trump,” KTTH’s Michael Medved described on Twitter. “Would they consider backing Sanders, Warren or Harris? No way! But #TimRyan & especially #JohnDelaney sounded sane, credible tonight. Disaffected GOP’ers could easily decide the Nov. outcome.”
But ss KIRO Radio’s Dave Ross noted, Warren tackled the middle-ground position of Delaney head-on.
Warren to Delaney: "Why does somebody run for president just to say what we can't do and shouldn't fight for?" And thus are the moderates excommunicated. #DemocraticDebate

KTTH’s Jason Rantz saw a different role for Delaney, describing him as “a gift to Republicans.”
John Delaney is a gift to Republicans, reminding everyone the front runners on his side are insane, while posing no threat of becoming the nominee. #DemDebate

The real highlight of the night, though, was author and spiritualist Marianne Williamson once again assuming the spotlight in the strangest way possible, describing a “dark psychic force” coming out of Washington, D.C. right now.
That had KIRO Radio’s Dori Monson declaring an early winner of his own.
