Some big name basketball players are coming back home to Seattle this summer for the return of “The Crawsover.”

Hosted and organized by NBA great and Seattle’s very own Jamal Crawford, the Pro-Am tournament starts this Saturday.

“To not have it last year with the pandemic was heartbreaking for all of us, but we just couldn’t do it,” Crawford told KIRO Radio’s Gee and Ursula Show. Getting back to it as soon as possible, we’re excited. The rosters are stronger than ever.”

Along with Crawford, lineups include more NBA stars from Seattle, like Isaiah Thomas, Kevin Porter Jr., and Zach LaVine.

“You’ll see so many different guys, and you always have special guests — that’s what’s so cool about it. Look forward to seeing some fresh, young faces, and some fresh, young NBA stars as well,” Crawford said.

Games in the Crawsover Pro-Am will be played at Seattle Pacific University. Admission is free, but capacity is limited.

Listen to the Gee and Ursula Show weekday mornings from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. on KIRO Radio, 97.3 FM. Subscribe to the podcast here.
