An Amber Alert has been canceled for a 3-month-old baby out of Yakima.

The baby was said to be in a vehicle with his father Rene Avila Baeza, and his mother, Yesenia Mesta. Mesta reported a domestic incident to Yakima Police involving Baeza on Tuesday night. According to YPD, there was a “valid and served domestic violence no contact order in place between Yesenia and Rene in which Yesenia is the protected party.”

Baeza also had an outstanding warrant for a felony assault against Mesta.

Shortly after 8 a.m. on Wednesday, authorities reported that they had located the victims “safely at [their] residence.”

The incident began when Mesta called 911 on Tuesday night. Dispatchers were able to hear “sounds of a serious argument taking place.” Police initiated a chase of the vehicle Baeza was driving, with Mesta remaining on the line with 911. Baeza was heard “telling Yesenia that they were all going to die and that she needed to tell police to stop chasing them.” Baeza refused to stop the vehicle to let Mesta or the baby out.
