Be prepared for long commutes in Seattle this weekend as construction closures are set to cause heavy traffic on I-90, I-5, SR-9 and more.

SR-520 bridge closure

Another closure across the SR-520 floating bridge in both directions will likely cause backups on I-90. 520 is closed through early Monday morning, however you can still bike and cycle across the bridge during construction.

All associated on and off-ramps will close from SR-520 between I-5 in Seattle and 92nd Avenue Northeast in Clyde Hill.

Here’s your warning: Seattle’s SR 520 will be fully closed all weekend

Revive I-5

It’s Revive I-5 weekend (again)! The off-ramp to Columbian Way and the West Seattle Bridge are closed along with the right lane of southbound I-5. You can access the West Seattle Bridge from SODO or by using Michigan Street and back onto northbound I-5 and the northbound exits. All work should wrap up early Monday morning.

In addition, the I-5 southbound exit to Mercer Street will be closed and wrapped up by 4:00 a.m. Monday.

More traffic

A full closure of SR-9 from 20th Street NE to 32nd St SE should last until 4:00 a.m. Monday.

Additionally, the Mariners are in town this weekend (Go Mariners!). Expect heavy traffic in and around T-Mobile Park both Saturday and Sunday.
