Donald Trump has never been expected to win in Washington state, however, that hasn’t stopped local Trump supporters from giving thousands to his campaign.

According to the Puget Sound Business Journal, the Republican presidential candidate has received considerable support from Washington donors.

More than half of Americans got a case of election stress this year

Peter Gigante, for example, gave $10,000 to Trump’s campaign. Gigante is listed as “self-employed in the business of international trade.” He’s contributed the most to Trump in Washington. He told the Business Journal that his donations to Trump are likely more than the reported $10,000 at this point, and he will likely give more. He said further:

The reason I’m supporting Donald Trump is I feel the current administration and Hillary Clinton have both demonstrated a propensity to engage in unethical behavior, and that’s being generous. I’m very concerned because I feel corruption and lack of transparency and honesty has crept into our federal government like never before.

But there’s a list of more than 40 such Trump donors that the Business Journal has published, who have given $2,700 or more. The journal ranks the donors from highest on down. It’s similar to a Business Journal ranking of the Washington cities who have given the most money to Trump. In case you’re wondering — Seattle is Hillary Clinton’s biggest contributing city with $1,995,000, and Vancouver is Trump’s no. 1 contributing Washington city with $58,000. The second cities for the candidates were Bellevue for Clinton with $211,000; and Seattle for Trump with $39,000.

Second on the list of Washington Trump donors is Vancouver’s Joe French who put up $5,000. Then there’s Larry Blake of Bellevue who gave $2,900.

The remaining list of Washington Trump donors each gave $2,700 to the candidate. The majority of donors are listed as “retired” under their occupation, though there is also a significant number of people listed as “president,” “CEO,” or who are from the construction / real estate industry. Oh, and one Alaska Airlines pilot.
