Top 10 places King County transplants are moving from

Based on data from the Washington State Department of Licensing, The Seattle Times uncovered the top 10 places people are moving from into King County.
Not surprisingly, California is No. 1.

Here’s how many people moved to King County from the following locations in 2016, according to driver’s licenses:
- California: 16,155
- Texas: 4,727
- Oregon: 3,312
- Florida: 3,013
- Arizona: 2,771
- New York: 2,769
- Illinois: 2,725
- Colorado: 2,025
- India: 1,865
- Georgia: 1,790
