I’ve told you for a long time that there is a very active effort in politics, law enforcement, and the judicial system to tear apart this region from within. And never was this more apparent than with King County Superior Court Judge Veronica Alicea-Galvan.

We have a very active socialist/Marxist political structure around here. Their stated desire is to dismantle the structures of governance and order so they can rebuild it all in their image.

How do you do that? You do it with crime. You do it with drugs. You let the criminals take over the streets. We have the second-worst property crime of any major city in the country. We have probably the worst drug crisis of any city in the country. We may as well have legalized drugs, seeing how we allow drug use all over, and how we don’t prosecute people for possessing small amounts of hard drugs.

When you do all of those things, you weaken a region, and you get closer to the stated goal of destroying it. It’s a bizarre fantasy, but it’s so much closer to reality than anyone wants to admit or acknowledge. They want to see our systems torn down so they can put in their twisted vision of what law enforcement should be.

Police commander: Prosecutor’s office may as well be public defender

I’m talking about the no-youth jail movement, where rapists and murderers who are 16 would walk free. This is a movement for which King County Executive Dow Constantine has voiced his support.

And I’m talking about the story we reported on on Thursday, where a musician leaving a nightclub downtown was bashed over the head with a baseball bat by a group of homeless addicts. One of those attackers, Lonnie Sanderson, was arrested recently, but let free after 10 days.

The musician, Ryan Georg, had his skull fractured, and had to re-learn how to speak and sing. He is now in a wheelchair and gets seizures because of the assault. An Army veteran, Ryan served in Iraq and survived that, but now he is fighting to survive the streets of Seattle.

The judge, Veronica Alicea-Galvan, decided to let a guy who had swung a baseball bat in another man’s face walk free after 10 days. She wants him to go to a drug counseling day program, but there is no supervision to ensure he will do so. She is apparently willing to take the chance that he might fracture someone else’s skull, or even kill someone the next time. Why? Because Judge Alicea-Galvan is trying to rule by her social justice code, rather than the law of our state.

The more I’ve been researching this one particular judge in the King County Superior Court, the more I am confident that we absolutely have people on the inside trying to destroy this region.

Let me tell you more about Veronica Alicea-Galvan. She let Travis Berge — the guy who was featured in KOMO 4’s “Seattle is Dying” as having 34 criminal cases in four years (including assault, attempted rape, and threats to kill cops), and the guy who bragged to KIRO 7 TV that he likes to shoot up next to police officers — walk free this spring. And of course, he committed more crimes after being set free.

Why would Judge Alicea-Galvan do this? She told KUOW that they “only hold people pre-trial if they meet certain conditions — if that person is a danger to the community.” Are Lonnie Sanderson and Travis Berge not dangers to the community? Why does she let them walk free?

Well, it turns out that Veronica Alicea-Galvan does not necessarily rule by the law. When the citizens asked for the ability to vote on heroin injection sites via Initiative 27, which got enough signatures to qualify for the ballot, Alicea-Galvan would not allow it to go on the ballot. She was probably afraid the people would say no to heroin death sites, and she wants those injection sites in-place.

Why? Let’s go to her Facebook account. This sitting King County Superior Court judge wrote this on Facebook two years ago, as KIRO Radio’s Todd Herman highlighted in this Tweet.

The institution she loves is presumably the court. And she views the court as a system of oppression if they lock up guys who club people over the head with a baseball bat. And when she uses the word “Resistance,” that’s music to the ears of the anti-Trumpers. That’s the word they use when they want anarchy. Oh, and one of the people she tagged in this status, Judge Nicole Gaines Phelps, is the same judge who allowed convicted rapist Francisco Carranza-Ramirez to walk free on the promise that he would go back to Mexico. Before he went to Mexico, Carranza-Ramirez tracked down his rape victim and assaulted her again.

You may wonder, how does such a radical Leftist who has decided to fight oppression by releasing dangerous people get a seat on the bench? Let’s look at this Tweet from December of 2014 by Governor Jay Inslee.

Jay Inslee appointed this judge because she’s a strong voice for the Latino community. Isn’t a judge supposed to be appointed because he or she is a strong voice for the law? It is supposed to be about the law when you are sitting on the bench, not about your race.

So clearly, Judge Alicea-Galvan’s social justice cause is much more important than the law. And if that means that she will let heroin sites go up around the county, against the wishes of constituents, then so be it. If that means that she lets a baseball bat attacker go free, she does. She thinks she is working against a tool of oppression. This is what we mean when we talk about people who create law from the bench.

We have a radical sitting on the court who would rather endanger the lives of citizens than uphold the law.
