WSDOT crews are working on expansion joints this weekend in Marysville and now in Tacoma.

Drivers should expect lane closures on the 509 bridge in downtown Tacoma overnight Friday. Crews are doing maintenance work on the bridge’s expansion joints, which means they will alternatey close lanes in both directions.
The work is scheduled from 9 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday.
