Kamala Harris to hold gun safety roundtable Friday in Seattle

Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris is expected to hold a gun safety roundtable Friday during her campaign stop in Seattle.
According to Harris’ campaign staff, she will discuss her plan, if elected, to take executive action to combat gun violence in her first 100 days in office.

Harris is currently the junior senator from California after previously serving as the district attorney of San Francisco as well as being the first woman and first African-American to serve as attorney general in California.
She announced her candidacy in January.
While in Seattle, Harris is also hosting a fundraiser at Capital Hill venue Chop Suey from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The gun safety roundtable will be held at the Langston Hughes Performing Arts Center and KIRO 7’s Essex Porter will be in attendance. For a full breakdown of the roundtable, watch KIRO 7 News tonight on TV or here.
