Westbound lanes of the West Seattle Bridge reopened Tuesday after a truck hopped a barrier earlier during the morning commute.

Traffic was reduced to two lanes at the Delridge Way SW exit moving westbound. One eastbound lane was closed from Fauntleroy to I-5.

The incident occurred around 8:20 a.m. Tuesday, when a dump truck headed westbound crashed through the Jersey barrier. Initially, traffic was getting by in one lane moving eastbound, before all lanes were eventually closed.

Westbound lanes reopened around 9:20 a.m. Eastbound lanes began to reopen around 10:30 a.m.

No one was injured in the incident, and no other vehicles were involved.

Later Tuesday, however, a second incident further hindered traffic across the West Seattle Bridge.
