22-year-old in serious condition after shooting on Metro bus in Seattle

Seattle police are searching for a suspect following a shooting on a Metro bus in south downtown Seattle Wednesday morning.

The suspect on the loose is a Hispanic male in his late teens or early 20s, according to the Seattle Police Department. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored jeans, and a bandanna over his face.

The suspect left a man is in serious condition after shooting him on a King County Metro bus in Seattle’s SoDO district.

Another suspected gunman was arrested after the incident, according to Seattle police.

The Seattle Times reports the gunmen may have been masked.

The shooting occurred at the intersection of 4th Avenue and Holgate Street, according to the Seattle Police Department. Officers and King County deputies responded at 10 a.m.

Witnesses reported seeing two men flee the bus after the shooting.

The 22-year-old man was transported to Harborview Medical Center.
