Serial prowler sought near Sammamish

The King County Sheriff’s Office is on the hunt for a serial prowler targeting homes near Sammamish.
Sgt. DB Gates says there’s probable cause to arrest Shayne C. Kennedy, 41, for possession of stolen property.
The transient has been going around the neighborhood between 8:30 and 11:30 p.m., primarily stealing things from unlocked garages and outbuildings.
He is described as a white male, 41 years old, 6 feet tall and approximately 190 pounds. He has long reddish blond hair, often pulled back in a ponytail. He was last seen wearing a bulky water resistant outfit and a backpack, Gates says.
The Sheriff’s Office is encouraging residents to make sure their homes, garages or outbuildings are kept locked, and to keep their porch or deck lights on after dark.
