12s not waiting for regular season to send off Seahawks

The Seahawks’ quest to defend their Super Bowl championship kicks off Thursday in Denver against the Broncos. It might just be a preseason game, but some members of the 12th Man are already in regular season form.
Super fan Kenny Burns rallied the 12’s for an official send off Wednesday in Seatac to cheer on the Seahawks as the team headed for the Mile High City.
“We’re really pumped. Football is all year round to a majority of us 12’s,” he says.
About a dozen fans gathered with Burns along 188th in Seatac as the team buses passed, paling in comparison to the thousands that lined the route when the Seahawks headed off to New York last winter for the Super Bowl. But Burns says it’s the heart of the fans, not the size of the crowd, that matters most.
“We’re going to be out here no matter what. Through preseason, through all the regular season games, through rain, snow whatever,” Burns says.
