Seattle Police ID second suspect in Leschi double murder

Seattle Police have identified a second suspect in the murder of two men on Sunday, June 1 in the Leschi neighborhood.
Ali Muhammed Brown is described as a black male, 5’9, 190 pounds, with brown eyes. He is 30 years old and believed to be a transient who has previously frequented the South King County area.
If you see Brown or know where to find him, police want you to call 911 or the SPD Homicide Tip Line at (206) 233-5000 immediately.
Police believe Brown is armed and dangerous, so they urge you to use extreme caution if you spot him.
Detectives are still working to identify any other possible suspects in the case.
Matalepuna Malu, 26, was arrested after police received information linking him to the murders of Ahmed Said and Dwone Anderson-Young.
Malu remains in the King County Jail for a federal warrant and an assault investigation. The assault happened before the shooting and is not believed to be related.
Said and Anderson-Young were found dead at 29th and King St.
Detectives say they recovered one of the victims’ cars, a Mitsubishi Galant, abandoned on Wabash Avenue and S. Cloverdale Street, earlier this week.
Assistant Police Chief Carmen Best said they don’t have a motive for the double murder, but they are not taking anything off the table.
A vigil is planned for the victims at 7 p.m. Thursday at 29th and South King Street.
